The Elder Brothers are a band made up of four 'seasoned' musicians with many years of experience playing some of the most memorable music from the 60's and 70's, incorporating 3 and 4 part vocal harmonies. As Baby Boomers we are aware of the gift of peace and prosperity bequeathed to us by our parents and grandparents and are grateful to have been born into a unique period of music history. We have plied our craft of music over the decades in a multitude of cities, towns and villages. In many ways each gig has been, and continues to be a gift!

We play songs with substance and meaning to us and our listeners, songs that you will enjoy, dance to, sing along with and remember fondly. The 60's and 70's produced memorable music capable of taking us to a place and time we can no longer visit but which can fill us with unspeakable joy.

Our passion is to talk about music and bands from our past and we hope to share some of our conversations in future videos.

|n our youth we were amazed that a group of people could pick up silent, inanimate objects of wood and steel and with practice, discipline and determination, infuse them with the human spirit to create music...or magic!

We are still those kids at heart and wish to honour that legacy in the songs we play. Borrowing from the catalogues of The Beatles, The Stones, The Monkees, The Eagles and many more, we want to engage you in this joyous pursuit and  hope to see you soon.

''Awesome Band!!  Four extremely talented musicians with great harmonies from all.  Entertaining with upbeat classics! '' - Joan Smale, Dorchester Legion

"" Fabulous musicians whose musicality shone through. They had us on our feet and moving to the beat! Thank you Guys! ""

Entertainment Committee RWTO Convention 2022

"The Elder Brothers recently played at our First Annual Block Party. We were so happy to have them there! Every time I looked around.......all I saw were smiling faces and tapping feet. Many folks got up to dance too. We would love to have them back!. With the help of their excellent entertainment, we were able to raise over $3500." - Catherine Lemieux, Volunteer on The Social Committee, Horton Street Senior Centre
